TRANSGENDERIST: human being who is a transsexual, crossdresser, or other gender variant [including but not limited to intergender status or intersex states].
TRANSSEXUAL: one who does not identify with the gender assigned at birth.
CROSSDRESSER: one who likes to dress in clothing of 'the opposite gender.'
GENDER VARIANT: one who expresses variants of their assigned birth gender.
INTERSEX STATE: a baby born with sexual characteristics of both male and female. Many babies with intergender status [intersex states] have androgen insufficiency syndrome and thus are assigned female.
MALE/FEMALE: assigned societal gender roles based on presence or absence of a "Y" chromosome.
GENDER ORIENTATION: may be male, female, androgynous, or other variation. How an individual perceives themselves to be, regardless of physical characteristics.
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual. A transgenderist may be of any sexual orientation.
Transgenderists are widely misunderstood, classified as "sick," discriminated against in the provision of health care, and MURDERED for their state of being.
This blog is in remembrance of those transgenderists who have paid the ultimate price; and in support of my blogging buddies who are transgenderists. I celebrate your lives and mourn the deaths of those who have been killed by violence and by societal ignorance.

When someone is fired from their employment due to their adult expression of their sexuality, something is WRONG
